Type: Taster Session

Suitability: Beginners Sessions 8+ Years

Description:

To celebrate the Lido’s opening day we will once again be running kayaking taster sessions, these sessions are free to anyone using the Lido on the opening day, so we shall release online bookings at around 8am on the day

Once you have paid and entered the lido, you can either come and visit us by the diving board to sign up, or complete the booking form below. Once booked please come over to us 5mins before your time slot on the day. We shall be running 4 x 30 minute paddling sessions on the day at: 12:30, 13:30, 14:30 & 15:30.

No previous paddling experience is required for these taster sessions (though you’re welcome to attend if you have paddled before), and all equipment will be provided! The lido is a fantastic venue for trying the sport for the first time or practising those skills you would prefer not to do at the canal.

Volunteers

As usual we require volunteers to help setup the club gazebo for the band, and help participants getting on and off the water and supporting kit fitment.

Volunteer Ticket
Select this option if you are volunteering for BVCC during the day. If you are paddling then select a ticket for the appropriate time slot instead. Paddle tickets will only become available to book after 8 am on the day.
