I paddle river running kayaks, open boats and sea kayaks, I like them all and enjoy the variety. My paddling season goes something like this, water rivers in kayak and open boat during the winter months, multi day sea paddling and open boat trips in the spring and summer when it gets a bit warmer.  I have tried marathon boats but found them a bit wobbly. Looking to the future I fancy taking a white water racer down the Dart Loop, doing the Devizes to Westminster race and trying one of those stand up kayaks.

 I  started paddling in the early seventies and then gave it a break until early 2000’s

Wales, Scotland, England, USA, Greenland & Norway

NDK Explorer, Mad River Freedom Solo, Dagger Encore, Pelican Folding Boat, Liquid Logic Hoss & Pyranha Magic Bat

Werner Powerhouses (Lefty’s), Lendal Nordkapps, Werner Bandit, Whiskey Jack Good Sky & Cedar Greenland Paddle

River Section of choice?

Has water (preferability clean), interesting with nice scenery and not too scary!
